Vulture calls it “a mess of a series,” Variety says the show “strands its cast in episodes that are as undercooked as they are interminable,” and Sepinwall calls it “alternately suffocating and baffling, making almost every character as miserable to each other as they are to watch.” I’ve been side-eyeing Ball since I saw him at TIFF for his premiere of Towelhead and his post-film Q&A about sexual abuse was…questionable.
