Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel: New Parents?

-The Daily Mail is reporting that Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel have welcomed a new baby following a “super-secret pregnancy” — and so far, there’s been no denials. If true, the timing suggests she was pregnant when those photos of him looking cozy with his costar surfaced in Nov.

-Speaking of surprising baby news, Nicki Minaj is pregnant. I love every one of her announcement photos.

Kanye West hosted the first campaign event for his bewildering presidential run over the weekend, and it was predictably messy. He broke down in tears, said his dad wanted to abort him, claimed that he and Kim Kardashian considered not having North, and said Harriet Tubman never actually freed slaves.

-People reports the Kim is “furious” he discussed North.

-A hostess at a fancy NYC restaurant posted a TikTok rating celebrities guests she’s encountered. The Hadid sisters, Beyonce and Josh Peck got 10/10 for being incredibly kind, while Kylie Jenner got 2/10 for tipping $20 on a $500 bill, and Hailey Bieber got 3.5/10 for being “not nice.” (Hailey has since tweeted an apology.)

Amber Heard gave testimony to the British High Court today that she was afraid her ex-husband Johnny Depp was going to kill her, saying “Some incidents were so severe that I was afraid he was going to kill me, either intentionally or just by losing control and going too far. He explicitly threatened to kill me many times, especially later in our relationship.”

-She also said he was irrationally jealous of her costars and had nasty nicknames for them, including Leo ‘pumpkin-head’ DiCaprio, Channing ‘potato-head’ Tatum and Jim ‘turd’ Sturgess’.

August Alsina is milking every last drop of fame he can from his affair with Jada Pinkett Smith. He just dropped a new song entitled — you guessed it! — “Entanglements.”

Lindsay Lohan, Nancy Meyers, Dennis Quaid and more came together for a Parent Trap reunion. She looks and sounds really, really good.

-I’m sick of Zoom videos, but I’ll still be tuning into the Happy Endings reunion, which airs tonight at 7pm ET on YouTube.

John Oliver is attempting to quash coronavirus conspiracy theories by enlisting celebrities.

Mykki Blanco alleges that Universal Music Group still hasn’t paid them for their contribution to Teyana Taylor’s “WTP” some two years after the track came out.

-Vanity Fair’s Mo Ryan just dropped another stunner of a TV expose. She talked to 30 people who worked with Peter Lenkov, former showrunner of Hawaii Five-0, Magnum P.I., and MacGyver about alleged bullying, abuse & other serious problems they encountered. Kudos to McGyver star Lucas Till for being one of the ones to go on the record about Lenkov’s alleged bullying and body-shaming, despite what that might mean for his career. “I’ve never worked this hard in my life, and I am fine with hard work,” said Till. “But the way Peter treats people is just unacceptable. I was suicidal that first year on the show, because of the way he made me feel. But the way he’s treated the people around me—that’s just my breaking point.” Through his lawyer, Lenkov denied all allegations.

-Some are saying the only reason he was fired is because CBS knew this article was coming.

-Not surprising: Christopher Nolan‘s Tenet isn’t going to make its August release date after all. Sort of surprising: when announcing it, Warner Bros put out a press release that included 9 “off the record” paragraphs warning/scolding media about their coverage. Um,  “off the record” only exists if both parties agree to it beforehand, not if you send an unsolicited email. Secondly, nothing in a press release can be off the record — the whole point of press releases is to make a public announcement!

-I really like Princess Beatrice’s wedding dress.

-Disney+ released the trailer for Black Is King, the new Lion King-inspired “visual album”/film written and directed by Beyoncé that comes out later this month. It features cameos from Kelly Rowland, Naomi Campbell, Lupita Nyong’o, and Jay-Z.

Issa Rae Covers Cosmo

issa raeIra wrote the cover story on Issa Rae for Cosmo. Love them both!

Kate Beckinsale is on the cover of Women’s Health, in which she talks about people’s perception of her. “It can feel like a little bit of a political act to be a woman over 32 who’s having any fun at all. And by that, I don’t mean doing drugs and drinking and partying, because I never am, but being goofy, and going out, and not going, ‘Oh my god, I’m going to sit home and anticipate menopause while crocheting.’ ”

-Also, she doesn’t love it when Instagram followers comment on her smoking.

-The more people talk about Brad Pitt and Alia Shawkat‘s “incredibly tight bond,” the more it bugs me that there’s no dating rumours about them. I have no idea what’s going on with them, but if any other actress was repeatedly spotted spending time with him during social distancing, the tabloids would have them engaged by now. But because she doesn’t look like what we expect his girlfriend to look like, every article emphasizes how they’re “just friends.”

-Before social distancing started, Ben Stiller, Jack Black, Adam Scott, Courteney Cox and Lisa Kudrow filmed a Red Nose Day segment in which they attempt to get out of Jack Black’s Escape Room.

-Is Dolly Parton going to save the world? The signer is funding some of the most important, most promising COVID-19 treatment research.

-Any Taffy Brodesser-Akner profile goes to the top of my TBR list, but this one on Val Kilmer is especially outstanding. He now tours a show where he dresses up like Mark Twain and does Christian Science-themed standup comedy.

-HBO Max has given a 10-episode series order to a single-camera comedy starring Jean Smart, from three Broad City producers. It’ll be executive produced by The Good Place creator Mike Schur. I like all of those people!

Sources say Trolls 2’s top voice stars, including Justin Timberlake and Anna Kendrick were not informed ahead of the announcement that the film would be arriving on-demand early. Now their reps are asking for pay.

-The creator of Black Mirror says the world is too bleak for a new season right now. Seeing as we’re all living in a episode of that show right now…yeah.

-If any actor was going to be the first to shoot a movie in space, Tom Cruise makes the most sense.

-I share a birthday with Baby Archie, which I’m not mad about. Everyone was wondering how Meghan Markle and Prince Harry would commemorate it on social media, and they did even better than I expected (considering all their recent PR flubs) by posting a cute reading video for charity.

-It’s also George Clooney’s birthday. To commemorate his 59th, former ER love interest Julianna Margulies shared a bts pic of their last scene.

-Novelist Emily Giffin hates Meghan Markle so much. Girl, I read Something Borrowed. Sit down.

-Vulture’s costar reunions continue with Happy Endings’ Eliza Coupe and Elisha Cuthbert. I love that Cuthbert is wearing an East Coast Lifestyle had like a good Canadian.

-I’m not sure how I feel about Adele’s drastic transformation. I hope she’s healthy and happy, but she looks like everyone else in Hollywood now. (Specifically, Sarah Paulson.)

-Also, with Adele trending it surfaced this amazing video of her meeting some of her impersonators.

Gal Gadot Talks Marriage and Motherhood in Vogue

Gal Gadot vogue

Gal Gadot covers Vogue, and though she doesn’t address her much-ridiculed “Imagine” video, she does talk about meeting her husband: “In the desert at this chakra/yoga retreat type of party. And he was too cool for school. Like, we were in the same group of friends but I didn’t know him and he didn’t know me. And something happened kind of from the first moment we started talking. When we got home, I was like, ‘Is this too early to call you? I want to have a date.’ Then we go out, and by the second date he told me, ‘I’m going to marry you. I’m going to wait for two years, but we’re going to get married.’ I was like, ‘Fine.'”

-In a new chat with Amy Schumer in Interview, Selena Gomez talks about how tabloids would spin it every time she stepped away from the spotlight. “The way the media has sometimes tried to explain things has made it sound really bad, when in reality there’s nothing wrong with the fact that I needed to go away or that I fell in love. I had to start opening up because people were taking away my narrative, and it was killing me.”

-Meanwhile, Selena just nabbed Tom Petty’s L.A. mansion for $5 million.

-Actors Manny Jacinto, Lucas Hedges, Glen Powell and more sent GQ photos of their fave outfits. Is it just me, or do they all seem to be quarantining with professional photographers?

Ben Affleck and Ana de Armas have resumed their pap-friendly strolls. Yay?

Diddy hosted a celeb-packed dance-a-thon to raise money for healthcare workers and his ex Jennifer Lopez made an appearance (she still calls him “Puffy”). But Diddy was not here for Lizzo‘s performance and cut it off early. “It’s Easter Sunday. Let’s play something a little bit family friendly.” He later clarified: “When I stopped the music it was because it had a lot of curses in there. Not because she was twerking. She’s one of the best twerkers in the world.”

-Speaking of charity IG Lives, Rihanna did one and warned fans to quit asking about new music. “If one of y’all motherf–kers asks me about the album one more time when I’m trying to save the world, unlike y’all president… on sight.” She’s not wrong.

Justin Timberlake is in Montana with his family, and says that parenting 24 hours a day is “not human.” They have one child.

-Harry Potter’s Rupert Grint and his longtime girlfriend, actress Georgia Groome, are expecting their first child together.

-The SNL at-home episode was odd, but I did really like the Zoom sketch.

Kristen Stewart‘s girlfriend, screenwriter Dylan Meyer, celebrated Stewart’s milestone 30th birthday with a sweet Instagram post, writing “It’s a short ride on this earth, spend your time with someone that inspires you to be the best version of yourself and lights your shit on fire.”

-These videos people are making pretending to be Madonna’s assistant will never not make me laugh.

-In case you need a little Monday pick me up, here are the staged rowing photos that Lori Loughlin allegedly used to get her daughters into college.

-This article on the weaponized niceness of Ellen Degeneres is worth your time. In completely unrelated news, here are some very unstaged photos of her delivering PPE to a fire station.

-I watched the Tiger King reunion special so you don’t have to.

-My favorite part of this interview is when Ellen Pompeo is pretty blunt about how she preferred the early seasons of Grey’s Anatomy. “The show back then was just so, so, so, so good. I wish we had an appreciation for it then about how good it was. I don’t think we did, I don’t think any of us did. There was too much shit going on. It was too big, it was too hot, it was too fast and there was just so much going on in the beginning…I wish we had appreciated it for really how good it was, because — man, the show was fantastic back then.”

-Someone posted Black Widow’s alternate death scene from Avengers: Endgame. What a better way for her to go out.

-Man, some celebrities need to step away from Instagram Live during quarantine. Stephen Amell did a charity one last night and he was visibly drunk and slurry.

-During an interview for Meghan Markle‘s issue of Vogue, Dr. Jane Goodall reveals that Prince Harry hinted at the royal split last summer when she met baby Archie. “I made Archie do the Queen’s wave, saying, ‘I suppose he’ll have to learn this’. Harry said, ‘No, he’s not growing up like that.’ ”

One Direction fans are losing their poo at rumours of a possible reunion show.

-Here’s the trailer for season 2 of Dead to Me, which returns to Netflix May 8.
