Billie-Eilish-vogue cover
-There is a lot of tiring discourse about Billie Eilish‘s decision to show off a more revealing look in Vogue. She’s 19 — trying on different identities is part of growing up. In the interview she says “It’s all about what makes you feel good. If you want to get surgery, go get surgery. If you want to wear a dress that somebody thinks that you look too big wearing, f**k it.” And she sounds like she was completely in control of the photoshoot, saying in her IG post that the magazine “respected her vision”.

-Meanwhile, her post about it has become the fastest ever Instagram photo to reach 1M likes – in just 6 minutes.

-Is it really happening??!? Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck were papped hanging out together, with reports that he’s been “spotted multiple times going to J.Lo’s California home during the day” since her split from ARod.

-SNL season 46 will close out with Keegan-Michael Key and Anya Taylor-Joy hosting, with musical guests Lil Nas X and Olivia Rodrigo. Can we just go straight to these episodes and skip the Elon Musk bit?

-This is the first NFT I support: the girl in the “Disaster Girl” meme is now an NFT worth half a million dollars.

Evan Peters needed a hug after THAT scene on the last episode of Mare Of Easttown. Fair.

-Pose’s executive producer, writer and director Janet Mock had lots to say at the show’s premiere last week, including “I want to get paid more. Why am I making $40,000 an episode, huh? Do you know who the fuck I am?” (That does seem low for a showrunner.)

-Marvel dropped a new video and the second half features  a list of premiere dates for bunch of new films from this year until 2023, the reveal of the next Black Panther title (it’ll fittingly be called Black Panther: Wakanda Forever), as well as the first footage of Chloe Zhao‘s The Eternals.

Naomi Watts discusses her acting process and finding the right characters in the new issue of Shape.

-Cue the Bridesmaid jokes: Kristen Wiig is engaged.

Whitney Port says she once passed up the opportunity to hook up with Leonardo DiCaprio. “I saw him at the Roosevelt Hotel. He invited me out to Teddy’s and he invited me back over to his house, and I said, ‘No.’ I was too nervous. I had never had a one-night stand. I didn’t want to be with him alone. I was way too nervous to do it and then I lost my chance and it’s really one of my bigger regrets in life.” I was with her right up until that last sentence.

Taylor Swift and Miley Cyrus just dropped new music – though their singles couldn’t be more different. For what it’s worth, this is my fave single off Swift’s new album so far.

-Meanwhile, the new music video I can’t stop watching to is Normani’s “Motivation.”

Brian Austin Green says he wasn’t initially interested in Megan Fox. Sure, Jan.

-This Betty Gilpin/Natasha Lyonne interview is giving me life!

-Is Kristen Stewart dating screenwriter Dylan Meyer? Lainey seems to think they’re just goofing around in these photos, but I don’t goof around like this with my buddies. (Of course, I’m not followed by paps that I might want to mess with.)

-Here’s the trailer for the Sundance hit, the refugee documentary Midnight Traveler.

-This romcom looks like it’s extremely my jam. A young woman spills her secrets to a stranger on a plane only to realize later the he was actually the CEO of her company in Can You Keep A Secret?

Michelle Obama Nails Harry Styles in His 1D

-Twitter is going wild for a video clip from James Corden’s show that featured Michelle Obama hitting Harry Styles in the balls with a dodgeball, proving that sometimes the internet is made for good.

Hannah Gadsby goes no holds barred in her Variety interview, and it’s glorious. “Things that can f— off, or at least deeply reconsider their choices, according to Gadsby: A Star Is Born (“If I woke up and someone I met yesterday was just watching me, they would not have a straight nose”); colonization (“‘manspreading’ is the definition of civilization”); Game of Thrones”(“It’s a fantasy. There are dragons. Why are women getting raped?!”); Taylor Swift (“a can of Coke”).”

-We just got our first look at Greta Gerwig‘s Little Women adaptation and oh yeah, am I here for it.

-I deeply related to Jennifer Lawrence feeling ignored after pal Amy Schumer had a baby. She sent Schumer a series of texts  about The Handmaid’s Tale, and then jokingly blamed the baby when the comedian didn’t respond. “Are you asleep bc of the baby??? Are you asleep before 11?? Is this bc of the baby? Don’t make me resent the baby.”

-I saw Men In Black: International last week and as charming as Tessa Thompson and Chris Hemsworth are, that this is a mess. Now I know why, thanks to this behind the scenes recount of all the drama. Sony considered turning it into a crossover with 21 Jump Street, and while they were filming the actors were getting new script pages daily, and Thompson and Hemsworth then hired their own dialogue writers.

-In happier Hemsworth news, him singing “Hurt” on the Endgame set is kinda perfect. He was also very cute on The Late Late Show, attempting to be a waiter.
