Jacob Elordi is in the new issue of GQ Australia, and despite being spotted with Euphoria costar Zendaya in Greece (and then at the movies. And then in Sydney), he denies they’re dating (“she’s like my sister”). The boy still raves about her though, cause he has eyeballs: “Zendaya is an amazing creative, you know? She’s super dope to work with. She’s an incredible artist and a very caring person to all of us.”

Pete Davidson is making his standup audience sign $1 million NDAs. (In this economy?!) It was enforced at a recent San Francisco show where a fan refused to sign the agreement. This is, obviously, stupid. If your material is ready to be viewed by the paying public, said paying public can judge/talk about it.

Prince William and Princess Kate are going to bake up some holiday treats — and you can watch! The royal couple will appear alongside Mary Berry in a BBC special, A Berry Royal Christmas.

Nick Offerman and Amy Poehler’s Making It returns to NBC tonight, so here’s 60 seconds of them slinging craft-related puns at each other.

Tom Welling is having a big month. Not only will he reprise his Smallville role on next week’s CW crossover, but he and his longterm girlfriend Jessica Rose Lee got married over the weekend.

-My god, I can’t believe the risks Watchmen is taking every week. I’m not even sure how I feel about last night’s insane reveal, but it’s breathtakingly ballsy. Please watch this show.

Alanis Morissette just announced a Jagged Little Pill 25th Anniversary tour with Garbage and Liz Phair. Yes to all of that!

-Is This Is Us star Justin Hartley‘s divorce going to be messy? Days after the actor filed the paperwork, his wife broke her social media silence by posting a quote: “It’s hard to watch people change right in front of you. But it’s even harder remembering who they used to be.”

-Sadness: Shelley Morrison, who played Rosario on Will & Grace, passed away at 83.

Martin Scorsese‘s new movie The Irishman may be on Netflix, but that doesn’t mean he wants you to watch it on the subway. “I would suggest if you ever want to see one of my pictures, or most films – please, please don’t look at it on a phone, please. An iPad, a big iPad, maybe.”

-Knives Out (which I saw this weekend and was thoroughly delighted by) doubled its tracking predictions by opening with a $41.7 million domestic box office, pretty much making back its budget.

Fenty just won the Urban Luxe Award at the British Fashion Awards, marking the first British Fashion Award for Rihanna.

Margaret Qualley and Miranda July posted some videos on Instagram which seems like it’s performance art, but then Jaden Smith waded into it and I’m confused. He’s in on it, right?

-This is a wonderful feature on Laura Dern reflecting on her career, from Enlightened being ahead of its time (“But now, this year, this moment particularly, everywhere I go, people are bringing it up, like, ‘Oh my God, I just found Enlightened, we are Amy Jellicoe. We are all Amy'”)  to the fallout of Ellen’s infamous coming out episode (“We only did it for what, ten days? We all spent the next couple of years really struggling in work and safety. It was radical to experience that. It was the only time I ever experienced having to have to have full security detail”).

-SAG-AFTRA has launched an investigation into Gabrielle Union‘s firing from America’s Got Talent.

Josh Hartnett and his brother are drug dealers who get in over their head in the Inherit the Viper trailer.

Tessa Thompson Wants To Change Hollywood

tessa thompson time cover

Tessa Thompson covers the new issue of Time, in which she talks about how the industry is slow to change (“Every big opportunity I have been provided has always been with people of color. There is a long list of white, male filmmakers I would love to work with but they just don’t see me. They just don’t”) and refusing to answer to nicknames on the Men In Black set (“If Chris [Hemsworth] is ‘sweetie,’ I can be ‘sweetie,’ too. But if he’s Chris, I’m Tessa”).

-This is boss: Michelle Rodriguez has confirmed that she will reprise her role for Fast & Furious 9 — but only after securing an agreement for a female writer to join the production.

Meghan Markle‘s friends are coming to her defense in a new TV special called Meghan and Harry Plus One, hosted by Gayle King.

Maya Rudolph is such a good friend, she was willing to stick her hand down an airplane toilet for Amy Poehler.

-God, I love that Tiffany Haddish keeps wearing that dress.

-The latest episode of Law & Order: SVU is getting heavy criticism for reportedly enflaming Islamophobia. The showrunner’s responses to people on Twitter about it are certainly not helping.

Bill Murray talking about Selena Gomez is all kinds of sweet: “I really like her. I mean, you still can’t tell me who the hell ‘Selena Gomez’ is — but Gomez… I really like. She’s unusually bright. She’s kind and she’s natural. I’m always pleased to find some kind of pop icon who I really like.”

-Greys Anatomy’s Ellen Pompeo tore into The Bachelor boss over his tweets to Kelly Ripa: “we don’t attack successful women on our network.” I think I love her. When she’s done playing Meredith, she should write a book on how to be an ally because she’s been crushing it.

-An Amell is starring in the adaptation of The Hating Game!?! It’s the combination of my two favourite things!!! (I literally just fangirled over that author at a reading last month.) Lucy Hale is playing the female lead, which is a pretty good fit for the role physically.

Lucy is having a big day. The trailer for her Riverdale spinoff also came out. Other new CW trailers include Nancy Drew and Batwoman.

-I don’t love the silly petition by Game of Thrones fans (we can bitch and moan about TV shows but the only thing we’re entitled to control is our remotes; if you hate it, just turn it off and write fanfic), but I do love the totally ludicrous and not gonna happen “Jamie is still alive” theory.

-Meanwhile, Gwendoline Christie told EW she was not happy when she found out that Jamie was leaving Brienne for Cersei. “That’s where I went very red. I was very upset and I had to go for a walk.”

-I also totally missed the point of Varys’ rings last episode, but this makes sense.

David Letterman sent a surprise message of support to Busy Phillips and her showrunner (who started as his assistant).

-If someone asked me to guess who in Hollywood was bringing back the Saw franchise, Chris Rock wouldn’t have been at the top of my list.

-God bless Chloe Sevigny – aka the only person in the world who can wear this outfit and not incite ridicule.

Sarah Jessica Parker is over those annual tabloid rumours about her marriage.

Always Be My Maybe‘s previous trailer already made it looked great but holy shit is that Keanu???

Taylor Swift Couldn’t Defeat Thanos

Taylor Swift appeared on the Ellen Show today, where she apologized for once trash-talking Joe Jonas on the show, revealed that she shaves her legs every day, and geeked out over Avengers: Endgame.

-Can we leave Britney alone, for real this time? Britney Spears’ manager says he’s worried about her well-being, he’s not pressuring her to perform and she may never again. “Let her be a civilian for a while. She’s given so much. Give her time.” On the flip side, her mom says that she’s doing “wonderfully.”

-Meanwhile, Kevin Federline is reportedly blocking her from spending more time with her sons until she’d deemed “stable.”

-An arrest warrant has been issued for Stan Lee‘s former business manager, who’s charged with elder abuse.

-In happier Stan Lee news, this is a very cute clip of Brie Larson meeting the late comic creator.

-I’m so behind on the Lupita Nyong’o and Janelle Monae gossip. Are they really a thing? And why do people keep talking about Brie and Lupita? Whoever is or is not dating, I love it all.

-Have you watched Wine Country on Netflix yet? It’s a delight! Busy Philipps had the cast on her show to talk dildos and women directors, as well as drink lots of wine.

-Speaking of the Wine Country cast, Amy Poehler is hyped for a Parks & Rec reunion: “I’m Avengers-style ready to put it on at any time.”

Mick Jagger is 75 and he can still move like this.

-The CW didn’t renew their deal with Netflix, instead opting to shop their new shows to other streaming services (or keep them on their own). A lot of their shows survived of their Netflix popularity/revenue alone; I’m guessing this will be the last season they renew every show on their slate.

-I kind of love that stars are treating their show’s renewal announcements like they’re Constance Wu.

-CBS’ handling of Bull/Michael Weatherly still sucks.

Milla Jovovich opened up about the “horrific” abortion experience on Instagram in response to the new abortion bill signed into law in Georgia, outlawing all abortions after six weeks: “I myself went through an emergency abortion 2 years ago. I was 4 1/2 months pregnant and shooting on location in Eastern Europe. I went into pre term labor and told that I had to be awake for the whole procedure. It was one of the most horrific experiences I have ever gone through. I still have nightmares about it. I was alone and helpless. When I think about the fact that women might have to face abortions in even worse conditions than I did because of new laws, my stomach turns.

-Ooh boy. In a since-deleted Twitter thread, the creator of How I Met Your Mother weighed in on Game of Thrones by saying the reason people want to see a redemption arc for Jamie (and why people rooted for Barney on his show) are the reason Trump is president. What?? Dude, by Sunday GoT may take over your show’s title of the worst finale ever. Just sit back and hope it happens!

Paul Rudd accepts a dangerous mission in his SNL promo.

Miley Cyrus plays a pop star in the new Black Mirror season 5 trailer. Looks like this season is only three episodes, which sounds perfect.
