-Well, this is crap: a Times Up meeting has revealed that Tracee Ellis Ross is paid “significantly less” than Anthony Anderson for Blackish.

-Just because Kim Kardashian posted an Instagram photo about Louis Vuitton, it doesn’t mean that’s what she named her new baby.

-Is Michelle Williams engaged?

-Here’s the trailer for the new series Heathers, which is based on the movie. I dunno, guys…

Carrie Coon is expecting her first child. I’m happy for her, but if that means she’s taking some time off from starring in every TV show then I’m sad for me.

-Stranger Things star David Harbour will officiate a fan’s wedding after her tweet goes viral.

Michael Douglas took the rare step of preemptively denying sexual misconduct, and now we know why: The Hollywood Reporter published a story in which Susan Braudy alleges he masturbated in front of her while she was working for the him during the late 1980s.

-This deep-dive into the Aziz Ansari controversy is an interesting read. Not only did the story reveal some pretty disheartening opinions about consent, but it also made it clear how much it matters which outlets are covering this issue and how. (Clearly Babe.net didn’t know how to handle this story.)

-Meanwhile, The Good Place actress Jameela Jamil wrote a great piece on her website called “What We Need to Learn from the Aziz Ansari Clusterfuck,” in which she writes: “Our society, the internet, and even our most mainstream media, constantly perpetuate the idea that men do not need to worry about what our needs and boundaries are. They just need technical consent, however that consent is acquired. CONSENT SHOULDN’T BE THE GOLD STANDARD.”

-In last night’s opening, Samantha Bee  ripped into Aziz and how people are using it to detract from the Me Too movement. (“[Men], if you say you’re a feminist, then f**k like a feminist. And if you don’t wanna do that, take off your f**cking pin, because we are not your accessories.”) She also talked about the Shitty Media Men list, which I don’t think any other late night hosts have touched.

Matt Damon said this week on the Me Too movement: “Boy, I really wish I’d listened a lot more before I weighed in on this.” We wish that too, Matt.

-The Love, Simon trailer is very charming. I liked that book (Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda) a lot.
