Scandal and HTGAWM Are Shooting a Crossover Episode

Shonda Rhimes just revealed a Scandal/How To Get Away With Murder crossover and even though I don’t watch either show anymore, the prospect of Kerry Washington and Viola Davis sharing scenes will bring me back for an ep.

-Interesting that Brad Pitt‘s camp is putting it out there that he’s “casually dating.” Prepping us for an awards show date, perhaps?

-Speaking of awards, the SAG nominations were announced and for the first time in years, Kevin Spacey and Jeffrey Tambor didn’t make the cut, another sign that they are no longer welcome in this awards season circle.

-I am very, very interested in how the red carpet questions are going to go down this year.

Hoda and Savannah‘s combined salaries are reportedly $11 million less than Matt Lauer was. Of course.

-Congrats to Ellen Pagewho married her longtime girlfriend, Emma Portner.

-Netflix says Bright is its highest-viewed original film ever  in its launch week. The film is currently the No. 1 movie on the site in over 190 countries is being streamed by more international users than domestic. Not surprisingly, Netflix has greenlit a sequel to the terribly reviewed but allegedly well watched film. Also not surprisingly, Max Landis won’t be writing this one.

-Glad I’m not the only one who noticed that Black Mirror seems to have no idea what the morning after pill is.

America Ferrera reunited with her Traveling Pants sisters Blake Lively, Amber Tamblyn and Alexis Bledel in this cute snap she posted.

-The CW superheroes suit up in a new teaser for their upcoming mid-season returns. Barry’s reactions to Oliver’s grumpiness will never not make me laugh…

-Speaking of CW shows, the Pierce family fights back in the latest trailer for Black Lightning.

-On Twitter Dan Harmon apologized to a Community writer for harassment, calling himself an “awful boss,” a “selfish baby” and saying “i’m filled with regret and a lot of foggy memories about abusing my position, treating you like garbage.”  She responded: “I wish my memories were foggier. I wish there was a way to fix it. It took me years to believe in my talents again, to trust a boss when he complimented me and not cringe when he asked for my number. I was afraid to be enthusiastic, knowing it might be turned against me later.”

-Here’s Bruce Willis in the incredibly ill-timed Death Wish trailer.

-A member of a black sorority teaches a white sorority how to step  in the trailer for Step Sisters and I am deeply uncomfortable…
