Kristen Stewart Covers Marie Claire

Kristen Stewart Marie Claire

-I’m really liking the styling on Kristen Stewart’s Marie Claire cover. I wish they’d taken advantage of her recent willingness to actually crack a smile every once in a while, but it’s still good.

-Still no official confirmation, but every major outlet is reporting that Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis are engaged. She was spotted wearing a giant ring and has posted a few lovely dovey Instagram shots over the last few days.

-Speaking of engagements, Mary-Kate Olsen is engaged to Oliver Sarkozy. (She’s 27; he’s 44.)

Rihanna showed us all her nips again, and then channeled Whitney in The Bodyguard.

Kim Kardashian ended up leaving the Viennese Ball early after some bizarre incidents — including a guy in blackface approaching her and imitating Kanye. I think this is the part where we’re supposed to feel bad for her.

Angelina Jolie will wear silver peep-toe shoes to the Oscars, because that’s what she wore to rehearsals and told a bunch of college students who were there that she was trying to break them in. (She also asked them to call her “Angie”!)

-Now that all the Oscar votes are in, is Jared Leto  blowing off his public commitments?

-If you feel bad about how the Oscars shake down this weekend, just know that some of the voters are terrible people.

-The Oscars aren’t until Sunday (I’ll be covering them for MSN.ca — come visit!), but the parties have already begun.

Philip Seymour Hoffman‘s autopsy results are in. Not surprisingly, he died of an accidental mix of drugs, including coke and heroin.

-Is Robin Thicke trying to save face, or is he serious about his bid to win back Paula Patton?

-Meanwhile, Paula and her son were in a minor fenderbender after being chased by the paps.

-I wasn’t as completely enraptured by Gillian Flynn‘s Gone Girl as some people, but I did love the part where the main character explains the “cool girl” archetype, so I’m glad people are unpacking it. But I’m not really buying this argument that Jennifer Lawrence is trying to be one , mostly because women tend to like her even more than guys, and women see through the “cool girl” schtick really quickly if it’s an act. So Cameron Diaz, your reign remains secure.

-Here’s the new trailer for Orphan Black. Needs more Alison!

Conan O’Brien was honoured at the Oscar Wilde Awards last night — and it got so loud the cops were called.

-It’s official: Winona Ryder is Benjamin-Buttoning before our eyes. (Also, I love that Helen Mirren is her landlady!)

-A fan grabbed Justin Timberlake’s butt but he was cool with it.

-As a foodie, I loved this oral history of Pastis. As a gossip lover, I loved the section about its celebrity patrons (Matthew McConaughey was “such a bitch,” while Christina Aguilera refused to talk to waiters and delivered her order via bouncer.)

Colin Farrell on his first meeting with Elizabeth Taylor: “I had less anxiety waiting for the results of a home pregnancy test.”

Sarah Michelle Gellar did a Reddit AMA and it was great. She revealed that she thinks Buffy’s soulmate is Angel instead of Spike, and that David Boreanaz is a good kisser.

-Veronica Mars star Enrico Colatoni talks about playing a dad on his new TV show: “Every time I say “sweetheart” or “honey”, I can’t stop thinking about Veronica.” Awww!

Katy Perry surfaced after her split from John Mayer to grab dinner with  B.J. Novak. Free of Mayer AND dining with Ryan Howard? Looks like everything’s coming up roses for her these days.

-The new Muppets movie trailer is a million times better than the last one.

Are Kate Hudson and Matt Bellamy On The Rocks?

-It’s not a good sign when even People magazine is predicting the end of Kate Hudson and Matt Bellamy‘s relationship. Is she leaking these hints so she doesn’t have to explain his absence on Sunday night?

-Meanwhile, Kate incorporated her sons into her latest Ann Taylor campaign. It’ll be interesting to see where she stands on the whole pedorazzi issue after this.

-That 81-year-old tycoon is carrying on his annual tradition of paying a female celebrity to attend the Vienna Opera Ball with him, and this year he chose Kim Kardashian — who brought her baby.

Lea Michele released a song about her last conversation with Cory Monteith, just in case you were feeling too happy today.

-Sacrebleu! Kate Moss is baring her butt on the cover of a French magazine.

-Ugh. Tone it down, little girl from Modern Family.

Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore sang a song about their fictional love on the Tonight Show. Not going lie: that last line made me smile.

Adam Driver’s involvement might actually tempt me to go see the new Star Wars film. Lena Dunham is already tweeting her support — and then wondering if she spoke too soon.

-In other news involving the Girls cast, Allison Williams got engaged to the guy who created CollegeHumor.

Anna Kendrick has arrived in LA for this weekend’s Oscars.

-I love that Donald Faison will perform his “Poison” routine  on command. Sigh. I miss Scrubs.

-Judging by these cow costars, I’m guessing Robert Pattinson is no longer shooting his movie in downtown Toronto.  (The cows have already spawned a meme, of course.)

Veronica Mars movie spoilers are starting to trickle out.

Sarah Jessica Parker isn’t a fan of the “objectionable and cruel” language women use towards each other on TV.

Scandal is back tonight! I’m weirdly excited to see Kerry Washington‘s maternity coats.

Seth Rogen testified before Congress about his mother-in-law’s struggle with Alzheimer’s and it was both moving and hilarious.

-He then tweet-shamed senators for skipping his speech.

Liam Neeson is using another press tour to advocate keeping horse-drawn carriages in New York, which I guess is better than talking about his silly-looking new movie.

-Wait, wait, wait: Lupita Nyong’o  is in that movie?!?

-A bunch of new Divergent photos have landed.

-Speaking of new movie photos, here’s our first look at Sin City 2 featuring Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Jessica Alba, and Mickey Rourke.

-This is pretty boss: thanks to a generous back-end deal, Sandra Bullock is set to make at least $70 million from Gravity.

-I love this infographic showing every dress worn by Best Actress winners at the Oscars since 1929.

Leah Remini won’t stop talking about her decision to leave Scientology, because she’s awesome.

-Strange: Vin Diesel posted a video of himself and (possibly) Paul Walker playing World of Warcraft.

Amy Poehler and Michelle Obama’s newfound friendship continues. The First Lady will appear on Parks and Recreation’s season finale. Leslie Knope is gonna flip.

-HBO’s The Normal Heart, starring Taylor Kitsch as a gay man living with AIDS in the 80s, will premiere May 25.

-I’m guessing Justin Bieber loves this new Rolling Stone cover, no matter how negative the article is.

-Judging by these new photos, you’re probably gonna want to set your DVR for Jimmy Kimmel‘s post-Oscar special.

-Frozen’s Josh Gad and Jonathan Groff sang a cute song about what it took to create the film. Watch a preview here.

-Here’s the international trailer for The Amazing Spider-Man 2.

Katy Perry and John Mayer Split

-Tragic news: Katy Perry and John Mayer broke up. Try to contain your overwhelming sadness.

George Clooney has been linked to Amal Alamuddin, a British lawyer who specializes in international law and human rights, which means we can’t even snark on her. Hmpfh!

-Kanye West is getting a lot of grief for his Seth Meyer’s appearance last night (which I watched only because I was tuning in to see Robyn Doolittle, who did great!), but I thought he was unusually articulate and rational. At least, compared to his Kimmel appearance. I mean, he still compared himself to Michelangelo and claimed he has synesthesia, but what else is new?

-In other surprising Kanye developments, Kim Kardashian insists they’re planning a “super, super small, intimate wedding” in Paris. Whaaaa???

-No one is more thrilled about going to the Oscars than Jared Leto’s mom.

Drake came to Rihanna’s concert in Paris and performed “Take Care” with her. Flirty dancing and grinding occurred.

-Here’s a new vine teaser for X-Men: Days of Future Past featuring most of the cast.

Michael Sheen and Sarah Silverman are still a thing, apparently.

Pharrell‘s new album is currently streaming on iTunes. I’m really looking forward to seeing his hat and/or performance at Sunday’s Oscars.

-I fully agree with Lainey’s take on the pedorazzi battle. “How come I don’t know what Matt Damon’s kids look like? He lives on the same street as his best friend.” Indeed!

-Also, Kristen Bell is now rewarding publications who sign on to her pedorazzi campaign with exclusive Veronica Mars scoop which is…troublesome.

Lorde took a break from shopping with Taylor Swift to get breakfast with Amandla Stenberg and Kiernan Shipka — who was recently seen shopping with Taylor Swift. Worlds colliding!

Orlando Jones‘ new video “Thug Music Vol. 1—Play At A Maximum Volume” is pretty great.

-In other actor-turned-musician news, Idris Elba has released a mixtape. I’m not going to listen to it because my love of him seems to be dependant on my avoidance of his music, but here you go.

-Here’s a sneak peek at the new season of Orphan Black. Yay!

-Yikes. A jury has ruled that Lisa Kudrow owes her ex-manager $1.6 million.

-Good on Viola Davis. She just landed the lead in Shonda Rhimes‘ new ABC drama How To Get Away With Murder.

-Even The Muppets are getting in on the selfie craze.

-My boss constantly says “bazinga!” and it drives me crazy. Much like Jim Parsons’ SNL promos.

-The Fargo TV show, starring Martin Freeman, Kate Walsh, Bob Odenkirk, Oliver Platt, Colin Hanks, and Billy Bob Thornton, dropped its first teaser trailer. That’s not how you brush snow off a windshield, Billy Bob! Perhaps you’d know that if you didn’t hate Canada.

-Also, Key & Peele have joined the Fargo cast as a pair of FBI agents, which is both weird and awesome.

-It looks like Michelle Obama will be added to Amy Poehler’s Galentine’s Day list next year.

-Here’s video of Justin Bieber doing pushups in jail during his recent arrest.

-HBO just renewed Looking for a second season.

-This is old, but I totally missed this nipple-baring slideshow for W featuring Miranda Kerr and Miley Cyrus.

Beyoncé stopped her show to sing Happy Birthday to a concertgoer, because she’s great.

Jimmy Fallon‘s lip sync battle with Paul Rudd is pretty damn glorious.
